viva variety today kids

a super lofi Prantershifter set-recorded at an all go signs event-one of the classic ones where the place would be packed and thered be a million bands playing.  i think the part after his set is someone djing for a bit….im thinking it was dj empirical????

the “triv mix” by everyman of press the button/colorforms fame.  this is definitely an entertaining listen.  it is an hour long set of mike trivisano and WTAM samples that was an episode of press the button when he filled in during the 5pm rush hour slot…maybe in 2004 or so.  im sure if you go to the website and dig through show descriptions you can find it.  im too lazy to right now

up next is a dj set i did at recycled rainbow 8..from the early summer of 2004.  i think the theme was “living things” or something like that.  all the songs i played are about plants and/or animals…or just mention them in the title of the song

and lastly is the original mix of the first song from the first colorforms cd.  you know, the one without any vowels that i cant think of the name of right now…  this track features myself and ms. leia alligator.  i always preferred the original version better-as opposed to the “drop ryan down in the mix” version that made it on to the album.  i think i was the only one that felt that way though.  if i remember correctly i played drum machine and 4 cassette’s on how to speak russian or something…i think leia played saxophone or something.
